Cates Design + Engineering is located in Hillsborough, North Carolina and specializes in full service home design as well as civil and structural engineering. We work closely with homeowners on a wide range of projects including additions, whole and partial renovations, and new construction. We are very passionate about what we do and pride ourselves on providing thoughtful design, as well as exceptional quality and service to our clients.

ABOUT DAVID

David Cates, PEDavid is a Hillsborough, North Carolina native and enjoys being a part of the revitalization of historic homes in the area as well as designing new homes that mesh seamlessly with the surrounding architecture. David established Cates Design + Engineering in 2016 but he brings with him over 35 years of experience in the industry.
